Don't really want to do this,
because touting a great beach eatery leaves less seats for addicted P-Phil's locals. But, I am a retired school teacher, who has food serviced throughout my whole life. I (in my own mind) have important, but maybe insignificant opinions (haha). My husband and I found this place while wandering and we are not a part of this organization. PPhil's deserves recognition. It does not matter if you are a regular or visiting. The place is clean (not PHILTHY at all-so don't be put off), and GREAT in all ways: Hap-HR drinks, evening entertainment,& awesome food for comaparable $'s. Visit Tracey most days at the full service bar. Make her smush fresh mint for your Mojito! Wander upstairs at sunset, as there is a great view from the open-air, Gulf-view service bar and seats on the balcony, too. All spaces are lively, beautiful and relaxing. Wonderful staff, only known broasted chix buckets in the area, fabulous fish, bodacious burgers, & peel shrimp. Yummy E-Birds for us older folks-without the cheap filler main courses offered by regular kitchens. We survived our birthdays here, with t-shirt perks and fun. Try the alcoholic fishbowl offering-I am saving the bowls as a collector's item. So, what could be better? Now that my husband and I are thinking about it, we have only been there once this week...so-we must be OFF. Hope that your experience equals the average of our last 39 trips into Philthy Phil's. Not regulars, yet, but counting.

worth the drive from inland
Had a wonderful experience. Staff made it even better- great personalities, patience, and they actually are great at doing there job- everyone seems to care about great customer service! Manager was so nice and very professional. Great, beachy/laid-back, fun atmosphere... definitely will make the drive back soon!

Great Staff
Was there a couple of years ago. Had a great time. Staff and customers were extremely nice. The only suggestion I have is that they should update their website periodically. Would like to know if staff is still there (hate going to a place that constantly changes their staff).
