shabby, but comfortable
I really like Graceland. It"s been kind of run down (often out of tp, sinks backed up, etc), but I"ve always felt very comfortbale there. People are laid back and haven"t fallen into the too-cool-to-be-nice syndrome of a lot of clubs. It has very few frills (wide, shallow open room with a few pillars and some horseshoe booths in the back on a plat form. Lots of wood painted black.
The bar is long and narrow room with lots of flyers and a few tables. Drinks are tasty. Cheap PBR and Oly(?). I think they"re remodelling at the beginning of the year. Don"t know what will change.

Ben Kweller
I'm very very excited for the upcoming Ben Kweller concert at the Graceland. Any place that will showcase such a cool musician deserves a 5 beer rating!
