Terrible Service
Drink and food service is very slow each time we"ve been here. We usually eat somewhere else first, but last night we didn"t get to the U district until one hour before show time. We ordered at 7pm and waited 45 minutes before flagging down our waitress and asked what was going on with our order,, she didn"t know. Asked again in 15 minutes, she came back 15 minutes later and said "it"d be out in 5 minutes". Searched her out 15 minutes later and she said "I thought you canceled it". I was flabbergasted. There was still an hour of show to go, and she thought our hunger had suddenly vanished? Told her to get our order back in the front of the line and she said she can"t and "there are many orders ahead of you". Seeing many people with nachos that arrived after us, I said "give us the first nachos out of the kitchen". She said no and walked off as if she was through with me. Went to the manager and told the story. His response: "We hate the food part of this business and wouldn"t do it except to serve liquor",, as if I cared. "We"ve been here 2 hours and ordered when we first got here, get us some f*ing food!", and I walked off. Finally, when the comedy was 15 minutes from being over he delivered an order of nachos to us. Incredibly bad service and understanding.

It's all about the money
Showed up about an hour before the show to get a decent seat. Took an hour + to get our food and 1/2 hour for drinks. We were starving by the time the food arrived. However, I have had better food at an AM/PM mini-mart.
Went to order the next round of drinks from the bar. Bartender ignored me. A few people even ended up pouring their own beers and walking off.
Even though they were totally unprepared for the turnout, the owner of the club was busy jamming more people into the club! Despite the fact that he couldn't properly service the people in the club.
When the show finally started the owner of the club came up on stage and made a weak apology about the service and threatned to arrest the people that stole drinks. Told us " it was all about the comedy". Someone in the audience even called the fire dept.
The comedy was good. Frankly it's about the experience if you ask me. Needless to say ours wasn't good.
My advice, unless there is someone you really want to see, go to the comedy underground in Pioneer square. We the paying public deserve to be treated better.
