OVERPRICED DRINKS
A well mix drink is $9.00, in a small rocks glass filled with ice. The place is nasty. They should take some of the funds and hire a daily cleaner.

An Atlanta Treat
Cafe 290 is an un-sophisticated venue. The ambience and atmosphere are created by the people that come to hear some of the best local Traditional and Smooth Jazz artists in the area. In over 20 years the establishment has changed very little. Instead of putting a lot of money into the fixtures, the owner has put his efforts in presenting quality entertainment and good food.
The stage butts up against the first set of tables in the dining area. Sitting at the bar your view of the entertainers may be obstructed but, the quality of talent makes up for the lack of a prime view.
If you are afraid to be up close and personal with the talent then go to one of the fly by night, posh establishments, where the cover charge and drink prices exceed the quality of performers.
