The music at Fat Tuesdays is FAR too loud. You can't talk to your friends, let alone anybody you are trying to meet. This makes it far to cliquey a club (sticking with the people you came with) and discourages singles from going. Their $10 All You Can Drink special is OK, but factoring that it ends at 1 (rather than 2 [closing time], 145-50 [last call] or even 130, and coupling with it the obscenely loud music, Fat just isn't worth the visit, even without paying cover.

WEAK!
I"m from New Orleans. I know how Fat Tuesday works. And I know daiquiris. These drinks are WEAK! The only time this place is fun is when Tom Satori is there on Thursdays and the beer is cheap. If you want a real daiquiri, GO TO NEW ORLEANS!

want me to spend money, but can"t dress nicely the way I want to.
Gainesville is a college town you should be able to be an individual. I dress nice, but I wasn't allowd in becuase I was wearing a baseball cap. I brought two stunning young laddies with me that I left to drink at your bar and later had to pick them up. You expect me to pay a cover charge and spend lots of money tipping and buying drinks, but I can't wear a nice cap!I work in a very nice resturaunt if you come into spend money I'm not going to tell you you can't eat here because of a cap.I also have read that you will most likely remove my review becuase it doesn't meet your standards, of quality reviews.
